Build on our success! We have been assembling widely varied World Class genetics for 21 years. Every year we see overall improvement in our progeny through careful selective breeding. Bozedown genetics are a must for any serious breeding programme.

We offer World Class studs of our own Bozedown breeding - Supreme Champions, huacayas and suris, which are generally acclaimed by the 2010 UK Show judges to be displaying some of the most advanced fleeces in the World. We also offer you a further choice of outstanding established Huacaya and Suri Studs, Studs that are the bedrock of our selective breeding programme. Our Stud line-up includes Accoyo and Allianza Peruvian Studs, along with top Australian and U.S. bloodlines, including exciting new imports in 2009 and 2010.

We can show you progeny from all our established males. Ask to see the progeny when you visit, or come to our Stud Open Day, when progeny will be on view. Viewing the progeny will reassure you that your Stud fees are being well spent with Bozedown.

Bozedown genetics’ continuing Show supremacy prove beyond doubt our expertise in both selecting and breeding. We can advise you on how to optimise your own breeding programme, using our exceptional Stud Males, to help you achieve the best results in improving your own herd.

All stud fees reduced for 2010
We have been utilizing biosecurity measures on our farm for several years. Visiting females have been on a different property from our main herd, and we have used teaser males for spit-offs, thus minimising any biosecurity risks. However, we are now not comfortable with the fact that our clients’ females may unwittingly have their biosecurity compromised by being with other clients females. Therefore we have decided that for this year we shall simply have visiting females visit for drive-by matings. We realise that this will result in higher transport costs for our clients. We have decided to mitigate these by reducing our stud fees across the board. We can do this because we shall be reducing the cost to ourselves, by neither having the added cost of care for visiting females and crias, nor the time cost of conducting weekly spit offs. For those clients who do not have a suitable teaser male at home we can offer such males at wether prices.

For those clients who cannot visit us for stud work, we have for sale a tremendous selection of really excellent Studs with outstanding Bozedown genetics. You can soon recoup your initial investment in saved stud fees.
