We have hosted 2 Neonatal Clinics by Claire Whitehead,BVM&S MS DipACVIM MRCVS, in August 2007 and January 2008. The Clinics are a must for all alpaca breeders who want to be able to give the very best care to their breeding females and crias, both during birth and in the early stages of life. The presentations were very well supported with excellent slide shows. Both clinics were very well received and delegates enthused about Claire’s communication skills, and the amount of practical information. They also found the wet lab. session very informative and useful. We are very fortunate to have Claire back in the UK with 5 years experience in one of the busiest camelid (mainly alpaca) referral clinics in the USA
